Meet Heidi Berthoud

Public health data doesn’t need to be intimidating. Public health is the invisible infrastructure that keeps us healthy and safe, yet it can be confusing and overwhelming for many to understand. As the founder and principal consultant at Heidi Berthoud Consulting, LLC, Heidi works with public health departments and health and social service nonprofits to conduct community health assessments, community health improvement plans and program evaluations. She and her team also facilitate meetings and trainings and help teams collect data they can use to improve health.

Heidi has more than 20 years of knowledge and experience in health care research, evaluation, public health initiatives, qualitative data collection and analysis, and patient advocacy. She has a master's degree in public health from the University of Washington and has been trained and certified in Facilitation and Action Planning Methods by the Institute of Cultural Affairs (ICA). She is passionate about community focused data collection, rural and remote health, reproductive justice, and making public health data accessible to everyone.
